Based on the original comic book by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird (not the cartoons which introduced pizza and “cowabunga” to the characters – and in many people’s opinion ruined the franchise), TMNT and Other Strangeness follows the lives of mutated animals living on the fringes of modern society. Whether the result of industrial accident (like the Ninja Turtles) or deliberate experimentation, characters are created from a long list of possible animal species and a customized set of possible mutations from bipedalism and human-like hands to speech, super-intelligence, and even psionics.

Once again, this is not the Ninja Turtles cartoon and movies, this is the grittier version of the Ninja Turtles from the original comic books.
